bobby3334 Posted July 21, 2018 #27 Share Posted July 21, 2018 If they introduce new promotions and they keep offering then eg “sip and sale” it means they are making money off of them Sent from my iPhone using Forums
majortom10 Posted July 21, 2018 #28 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Thanks for answering and informing me as I sail often with people from the UK. So do u think some of the UK people I have talked to on cruises got deals/a package thru a travel agency? They have had beer/wine packages that we in the US don't have available to us. Just curious? It's just been the last few years that Princess offered the sip & sail and other promos ..it's not like they have been around forever. I am member of the majority of the major cruise TAs in the UK and regularly check prices and get e-mails of offers on a daily basis and always check offers available before booking and have never seen a drinks package offered by any TA in the UK or by booking direct with Princess. You might get OBC from either Princess and/or TA and the odd occasion you might get a gift of one bottle of wine which we got from our TA when we sailed on Sapphire Princess in May because we have booked with them on many occasions. Californian Posted August 3, 2018 #30 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Some questions from someone who is still fairly new to Princess: 1. When a person says they check the prices of their cruise regularly, are you doing a dummy booking or going into your Princess account to check the prices? 2. What websites or apps will do the checking for you? 3. What do you consider great prices for various cabin categories? For inside, obstructed oceanview, oceanview, and balcony?
