Question on Wine in Ports

I know we are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine on board. We will probably use them for dinner. If we drink those bottles, are we allowed to bring on two more bottles at port and use them for dinner or will we have to purchase more from the cruise line.

I'm interested in the answer to this also. We are doing a winery tour on our cruise next week and will be getting a bottle as part of the tour and may purchase additional if we like what we taste.

You can buy wine in port, but it will be confiscated and returned to you the last night. Once you have consumed your two bottles brought on originally you will need to look to Carnival for drinks. Depending on the ship and how much you like your wine, the steakhouse offers 50% off (or a trashy free bottle) and you can buy as many as you like and have them stored (depending on maitre d)
