ellie1145 Posted July 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2018 Has anyone visited Hawaii in April? If so, is it a good month to go? Many thanks!
Beachiekeen Posted July 30, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2018 There's never a bad time to visit Hawaii! :) Historically May is slightly drier and warmer so I would try to go as late in April as possible and also Easter week is usually more crowded. Lucky Granny Posted July 31, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2018 I was there on the POA this past April, 18-28. It was cooler than we expected, but, since it was not too hot, it was delightful. We did not, however, go there to swim and vegge on the beach, in which case we might have preferred warmer. One day of the whole trip was rainy. There were rainy occasions on other days, but not constant. We would have brought more sleeves had we known. Whether you should wait for a warmer May depends on whether you prefer warmer or less warmer weather activities. Of course, next April might be altogether different. KeepCalmBearOn Posted August 2, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2018 Has anyone visited Hawaii in April? If so, is it a good month to go? Many thanks! Always good weather wise. Not so great crowd wise if Easter falls in April. If you can avoid Easter Week you avoid lots of families with kids. If you have kids, then it is a great week. Rare Keith1010 Posted August 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2018 April is a lovely time to visit there. When people say always good weather it is possible you will be there when it is rainy but that can happen at different points in the year but the odds are always in your favor for good weather. April is great as are several other months. Keith
