precruise play to stay with biking and beach

We'll be going down to Florida 5 days before our cruise leaves out of Miami. Any recommendations for parts of Florida that have both good biking and a beach nearby? The west coast of Florida is fine, too, preferably south of Sarasota. Thanks.

Hollywood Beach and absolutely nothing else comes close if you want to bike and beach. They have the long broadwalk, right on the beach, with dedicated bike lane, no roads to cross, etc.

Hollywood Beach is a very good option if you are looking for beaches and biking.

CIRC Hotel recently opened in the area.

We like to spend a day or two in Daytona Beach. We always rent bikes and ride right on the beach. It's about 3 1/2 hours to Miami. We head south early in the morning, day of cruise.

The Riptide is right on the beach/boardwalk, they also have their own bikes that you can use for free.
