Hi Folks,

Was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to make a booking for a future cruise through CAS while actually onboard? Anyone know if they have any reps there and if it is possible?

The best you can do is having the casino host email CAS back in Miami. They don't do bookings onboard.

Sorry, you have to call CAS after you return from a cruise. We do buy the CruiseNext certificates on board to use for booking with CAS.

Thanks both...that's what I thought but wasn't 100% sure.

The cruise next desk will allow you access to a back room and a phone for you to call CAS and book a reservation. I did this and they were very helpful in assisting me to get it booked, they couldn't book it for me but they did everything possible to help me contact CAS for the booking.

That is interesting! Were you getting a 'comped' cruise?

I ask because I call after the week of onboard gambling is done. Then when I get home and call CAS they can look at my stats for that cruise to decide what type of comp they will offer me for a future cruise.

And this is part of where I always get confused. I have heard many people say that they have been able to book multiple future cruises (comped) and I have heard others say any comp CAS might offer to you (based on previous play) is only good until you cruise again and therefore can only book one at a time.

Hoping someone that has booked multiple future cruises can jump in and end my confusion!

I usually have three or four comped cruises booked at any time stretching out for the next 12-18 months. When I get home from a cruise I call to see what can be offered to me for a specific cruise & date. If it's a very popular cruise (think Bliss- Alaska this first season) they might offer me an Ocean View rather than the Balcony or Mini Suite I am usually offered.

Same here comped. I usually try to wait until I get home to book something but sometimes something good comes along and I like to book asap to get the room I like. They let us have 4 open cruises so they just peek at my prior play and then book it.

Calling Miami gets the best results ;)

Well, if you have a good history with Cas they will not care if you have more than a couple booked.

I have also done some land casino certs along with straight Cas bookings at the same time. So, you can have multiple ones booked in different ways.

Good to know! We usually have four open cruises too, but I thought I had to be home a few days before I called. Thanks for the tip:cool:
