laurieb Posted August 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2018 We'll be in Bordeaux mid September; what is the typical weather there at that time? Thank you very much!

saltshell Posted August 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Will be there in September as well. With the current heat wave in Europe, I'm stymied as well. I will Google weather, and pack accordingly shortly before leaving home.

tring Posted August 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2018 You may have rain - the weather starts to break down in France in Sept. Just take a lightweight folding umbrella with you like the Brits do - you will be nice and dry under that. If it does rain it is likely to just be showers, so taking lunch or going into churches when the clouds come over is often successful. I use this site, which is British, but you can search for main cities around the world:- https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/3031582 The homegrown sites can often be more reliable for some parts of the world though. You can also search for average conditions on the net.
stl9092 Posted September 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2018 We were there for my birthday, September 30, last year and it was cool and drizzly, but it didn't take away from the thrill of waking up and being right in the city. You are so close that you can run back to the ship to dry off a bit and then take off again.
