pimentel7 Posted August 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2018 I know the Dream class of ships includes the Magic, Dream and Breeze. What class of ships are the Horizon and Vista, how much bigger are they than Dream class, and what do they include that the Dream class ship does not? It states that the Sunrise was built in 2019. The ship itself was built in the late 90's or early 2000's. It was refurbished in 2019, but not built then. Same with Destiny to Sunshine. geovet Posted August 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2018 It does say “*DE Refurbished/Renamed **TI Refurbished/Renamed”.
RWolver672 Posted August 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2018 It does say “*DE Refurbished/Renamed **TI Refurbished/Renamed”. True. But it doesn't say when the ship was actually built like it does on the others. There's a big difference between when it was built and when it was refurbished. A ship with a refurbishment at say twenty years old is still a twenty year old ship.

Carnival marketing noticed that they can increase the number of bookings quickly and better promote the ship if they falsify advertise it as a BRAND NEW SHIP!! it is all about marketing and increasing revenue, they will do anything they can it. Almost all company's always do some kind of tricky to get your money.
vamartha Posted August 12, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 12, 2018 I find this link to be the best reference when wanting to compare classes. Scroll down to the table, it gives great accurate information. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnival_Cruise_Line
