We were on the pool deck during the sail away last week (August 10th) on the Dawn and had 3 or 4 planes fly right over us when landing at Logan. Wow!! One of the most amazing things I have seen on a cruise. Literally only feet over the top of the ship.

Dawn and had 3 or 4 planes fly right over us when landing at Logan.

Yes quite a thrill - as the DAWN is backed out from the Black Falcon cruise terminal it passes directly

under the pattern of flights landing on Runways 4L and 4R at Boston's Logan airport.

The vertical separation is safe while the sail-away party can see the faces of those on board the flights.

The landing gear is down and playing sorties with the navigation gear on the DAWN.

AND I haven't yet mentioned the noise "LOUD" ! The DAWN's slow progress in departing Boston presents

the opportunity for several plane landing being experienced.
