star65 Posted August 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Hello, I know rules have changed and I think you aren't supposed to do this but my family drinks tons of water and the ships water makes me bloated and my ankles swollen! Has anyone had success bringing a case of water on and if so any tips? Thank you!
Clarea Posted August 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2018 I'd put the water in some sort of luggage and check it.

mets07 Posted August 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Yes. In our case it was a 12-pack. We put it in a small duffel and put one of the printed RCCL luggage tags on the bag. Enjoy your cruise.
star65 Posted August 17, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Thank you, I am thinking 2 small duffels filled with water bottles that I can then use for all the souvenirs I will buy!
FirstTeacher Posted August 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Hello, I know rules have changed and I think you aren't supposed to do this but my family drinks tons of water and the ships water makes me bloated and my ankles swollen! Has anyone had success bringing a case of water on and if so any tips? Thank you! We recently sailed on the Anthem, and we had no problem at all with placing luggage tags on the cases of water themselves (no luggage necessary). We made sure to tip the porter appropriately, but he didn’t question it when we took them out.
DeeDee316 Posted August 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2018 Just got off the Adventure today out of CL. Slap a luggage tag on it and it will be delivered to your stateroom. I saw many cases in the hallways as bags were being delivered.
Cruisingmarmi Posted August 17, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 17, 2018 If bottled water is allowed to carry onboard, anyone have luck with diet drinks?
vrock Posted August 18, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 18, 2018 We put 12 pack of water a a 2 six pack of diet gingerale in tote bag by itself and checked the bag it arrived at our cabin. It has never been a problem. We use the empty tote for souvenirs on the trip home. Have a great cruise. :)

Has anyone had success bringing a case of water on and if so any tips? Thank you! I sailed out of cape liberty on 8/4 and brought a case of Costco water. Placed luggage tag on the water. Tipped the porter and no issues at all. Sitting in front of my room with my luggage.
