Bar Harbour ME, Newport RI, Boston MA, Saint John NB, Sydney NS, Halifax NS, Charlottetown PEI, Saguenay QC, Québec City QC Boston is very easy to see and do on your own. I recommend walking the Freedom Trail if you are into History. Its mostly free. Newbury Street in teh Back Bay area is where all the high end shops are. You can get incredible italian food in the North End (Mike's Pastry and Maria's Pastry are the two best shops for cannolis, IMO). Newport the big attraction is the Mansions. Pick one or two to focus on. You can also walk part of the Cliff Walk which is gorgeous. If/wehn we get to Halifax i intend to visit the cemeteries where Titanic victims are buried. I don't know what the transportation situation is like, but if there are cabs/ubers/lyfts, I'd recommend getting a ride up to the Breakers mansion, touring that, and then walking the Cliff Walk which is out front. I assume the tenders drop you somewhere right downtown? The downtown area has a number of neat shops, we enjoy walking around down there too so I'd recommend setting some time aside for that too. poohdreaming Posted August 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Halifax - Peggy's Cove and the cemetery of Titanic passengers, Halifax public gardens. Quebec City - is it docked at Quebec city overnight? I would do the walking tour. It also easy to explore on your own.
