FSU Girl Posted August 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2018 I’m thinking of doing my first MSC cruise in Europe for my birthday. We typically do just cruise excursions. Are the tours offered in English? On the website the excursions don’t mention lanaguages so I wasn’t sure
perakcruiser Posted August 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Yes, English is always available, because there are many guests on board that don´t speak Italian, German or Spanish.

That’s good to hear. I don’t know much about this cruise line but the cruise I was looking at had a great itinerary
luvabargain Posted August 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2018 I didn't take a tour, but English is the primary language on the ship.
ADVentive Posted August 28, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2018 When we did it in June, they split the excursion into several groups based on language, and you were with a group and a guide who spoke your language. Some groups might be combined if they had lower numbers, and the tour guide would repeat everything in multiple languages. Our guide commented that she was happy that she only had to do English with our group since there were enough English speakers to make a whole group, so she didn't have to repeat everything. Rare Beamafar Posted August 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2018 There is a caveat that the excursion may be cancelled if there is not enough people of the same language booked. They will, however, have tours where 2 languages are covered when they have a multi-lingual guide.
