Planning my first Premier Cruise with $500 in Casino Cash. For those of you who have done Premier Cruises, how is the Casino Cash handled? Is it like an OBC? Thanks for your help!

It will either be cash or casino credit loaded on to your card. Before getting in line, set up your PIN and see what is in your bank.

The fine print in the Premier offers usually says that Carnival may, in its sole discretion, pay the "Casino Cash" as cash, casino credit, or OBC, but in practice I've only seen/heard it paid as cash or casino credit.

Carnival has been getting away with handing out cash. Several cruises I went on last year promised cash, but when I went to the cage on the last one in December, they gave me casino chips instead.

They gave me $500 in special chips (since I play Craps, Slot machines will get $500 credit). I could get them in any denomination I wanted.

When I put down a special $5 chip (they are larger than regular chips and yellow), if I won the dealers would replace it with a regular chip. So actually, it played the same. I just was used to getting the cash at the cage and not having to "trade" them out. Or even play them if I didn't want to.

I've had a lot of the same questions. I believe mine will be on my Sail and Sign card. I play slots. My main question is what happens to the $$$ I pull into the machine if I choose to leave the machine before using it up? Does it go back into my S and S bank or is it forfeited?

Thanks for any and all info!

Yes, it goes back into your account.

Yes, even if you win 25 cents, you can cash that part out. It keeps it seperate.

That's awesome, just like my local does it with "free play." OK, I got all of my questions answered thanks to you!

If I remember correctly you have to play whatever you transfer into a particular machine. so for example, they loaded $500 into your players account. You go to a slot machine a transfer $100 to that machine. You would have to play that $100 until that is used up;however; you can cash out whatever winnings you have at each session. So. for example, you loaded $100 in a machine. You play a $5 spin. You win $10 on that spin. You can cash out $10, get a ticket for it, and in the machine would be the remaining $95 that you have you play out.

Usually when I play with casino money every so often I'll cash out whatever winnings I have. Then I can see what cash I have remaining that I have to play out. This way I KEEP the winnings rather than give it back. I keep a mental count and cash out every $10- $20 accumulated winnings or right after I hit a bonus jackpot. That's how I play on land based casinos when I'm playing with THEIR money.

Each cruiseship is different. In the last 2 years, on the 11 Carnival Players Club cruises I have been on I had been receiving actual cash from the cage. I was off last week from he Horizon and the $500 was EITHER Chips or Slot credit to my account, NO MORE CASH.

I do the same thing, but if I pull $100 into my machine and want to -or, in some cases, HAVE to-- leave while I still have $45 in free play, I want to make sure that it goes back into my separated S&S "bank." Are you saying it won't?

If you download say 100.00 to your machine and only spend 55.00, the remaining 45.00 will go back onto your card as "free play"

Up until this year we have always gotten cash at the cage however this year we were offered either chips or credits for the slots. We had to choose one or the other could not split it up like $200 slots and $300 chips.
