Do all guests in the same stateroom need to board at the same time?

No. Used to travel with friends and family quite a bit. Some are the type who wanted to be on board early as possible. Others are like me who come later when I can go right to my cabin, then head to the Lido for a nice uncrowded lunch.

Even sharing cabins came at different times

At 1:30 the cabins will be ready (unless you have FTTF) and all of the sail & sign keys will be in your mailbox at that time. They will all be in 1 sealed envelope so the first person to access the room will have the cards of everyone else. You'll need to find the first person to get your s&s cards from that point.

Short answer, no. We've traveled several weekdays from here in Galveston when my wife rode over with friends and I hustled from a lunch at UTMB. Fat man in scrubs running to the terminal...

.

Gave me a chuckle. Hope that is what you intended. All in good fun, right.
