Relief band 2.0

Has anyone bought and used the relief band 2.0 for sea sickness? Thinking about buying for my wife.

Before you go and buy anything, have your wife see her doctor. He knows her better than any of us do here on CC. He knows what, if any, medications she is taking and can prescribe what she should take for sea sickness.

Her doctor gave her Xanax and something for nausea. He had her by Dramamine over the counter. Was looking to hear if that band has helped anyone. Was not asking for any medical diagnosis.

I've read threads of people who say they work. I don't think you will know until you are on the ship and try it. Everyone is different.

 

My wife used Dramamine once and it knocked her out. Now she uses the patches (behind the ear) with no issues.

I doubt that you will know if it works for her until she tries it.:)

DW has motion sickness and she uses "Seabands" Provided they are correctly positioned they work for her. My suggestion would be trying the basic option first before spending the money on this version.

People say they work. They do nothing for anyone in my family, which leads me to think that the people that they work for have never really suffered from sea sickness. IMO pharmaceuticals are the best way to avoid sea sickness.
