Things to do in Ft. Lauderdale / Miami

I'll be getting off the ship in Ft. Lauderdale on 10/21 and my flight is not leaving from Miami until 3:00PM and looking for suggestions on what to do. If I can find a car rental that will allow me to rent in Ft. Lauderdale and return to Miami I may even rent a car to explore.

 

Suggestions?????

Take a Princess disembarkation tour that drops you off at Miami Airport, that would be my choice.

If you leave the ship with early walk off you will have the morning to travel around by car, there is lots to see, the Ft. Lauderdale beach area, Everglades boat rides, Sawgrass mills mall, South Beach Miami. FYI it takes 45 mins. w/o traffic to get from FL to Miami airport. Be prepared for traffic wherever you go.

We always try and make it to Little Havana in Miami for lunch, only 10-15 minutes from MIA.
