It's not just the quotes but all the BBCODE formatting, smiley's, etc. Posts are practically unreadable as it. If after a week of being down, they weren't planning on updating existing posts - we might as well have started with an empty database. If it hasn't been addressed during the initial conversion I would agree that it appears they are not planning to do it - but I find it very surprising.
