Is there a live band by the pool on Splendor?

What type of music is played by the pool on carnival Splendor? Thanks in advance!

We spent most of our time at the aft pool bar, no live music, but I do remember walking past the main pool and the steel drum guy was on the stage playing, don't know what else might have been there.

Some afternoons you'll find a steel drum player with recorded backing tracks. It's usually a one man show.

The sailaway parties on the Jubilee from San Pedro always had a 4 person Calypso band playing. Mexico theme? No, but it still got people hopping to the tunes and set the mood for a fun 7 day cruise vacation to the Mexican Riviera every time. I couldn't find a photo with the band but here's the pool with slide.

OP - Live guitar or DJ will most likely be poolside aboard Splendor. Have fun!

the steel drum drummer was there at the entrance of the lido deck last July on the splendor during embarkation time. I don’t remember if there was a live band on deck events, though

That guy was there in April. Really talented.

Just off the Splendor on 13 Oct and the Steel drummer was there everyday.

Well, last time I was on the Splendor was in Feb. and never saw a steel drum. I'll have to see if there is one there next Feb.
