mushroom Posted October 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2018 Where is the connecting door? Can the balconies be connected?
chengkp75 Posted October 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2018 NCL's policy is that no balcony dividers can be opened.
Oakman58 Posted October 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2018 The connecting door is inside the cabin. While it is NCL policy not to open the balcony dividers it never hurts to ask your cabin steward. At the worst he'll just say no.

By all means put your steward in a bad position by asking him/her to do something that you know is not allowed. NCL doesn't open balcony dividers.

Now if you ask your steward to open the balcony divider while offering a $50.00 bill, that puts the steward in a bad position.

Took our cabin numbers and when we got back to cabins they were opened. Now did he just want to appease us or did he go against company policy? That I don't know, but he said YES without hesitation. ahcoll10379 Posted November 9, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2018 We were on the Viking Star in May 2018 and while underway, balcony dividers must be in place, however, while docked or anchored, our balcony divider was opened with our friend's balcony next door to us. Oh I hope that is the case for us on the Escape, we have connecting balconies with my daughter and her family and that would be awesome
torringtonwyo Posted November 9, 2018 #9 Share Posted November 9, 2018 interesting because we always book 3 or more adjoining balconies for that reason so we share one large one if the above is true we will be unhappy campers
