Travel Insurance to Cover Being in Wait List for Surgery

Has anyone got travel insurance whilst being on a wait list in the public system for surgery? If so, who through? Person is able to cruise and Dr has given the go ahead to travel but struggling to find travel insurance. Thank you.

NRMA a re pretty good with insuring travel for those with pre- existing conditions (outside the normally accepted ones), give them  call.

Well you should be able to get insurance, but the premium may be high if you want to cover the issue you are on the wait list for, depending on what it is.

 

mrs Gut and I both have a few conditions, some they just won’t cover at all, others only limited cover, others “Sure as long as you give us your first born”.
