Question regarding charges using Boarding Pass with Cheers program

Hi all.  For those who have cruised since they stopped handing out the S&S prior to boarding, is it correct that you now use your Boarding Pass as your sail & sign until your room is ready?   Does anyone know how Cheers works with this?   We always purchase it prior to sailing and they normally place a sticker on your S&S at one of the bars - just wondering how that works since you have to use a piece of paper instead of a card (at least for a couple of hours).

yes, it will be charged to your S&S account through your boarding pass, there P.O.S will know you have Cheers.

For a couple of hours you use the boarding pass. Assuming you are not going out of texas,where cheers begins the next day anyway.

And the sticker really doesn't matter. Last cruise they didn't even put one on my card.

No, but you should have an email confirmation and should bring it with you.

It'll be online. Click on "cruise details" and scroll down to "my orders"

Personally, having had a problem with my Cheers purchase in the past, I would bring anything confirming your purchase of it and I would also check once on board at the kiosk or Customer Service that it's there and working properly.  Just in case and all that.

We sailed last week from New Orleans and used the boarding pass for the first drinks. No issues.
