Reflection Full Speed Aheas

For those following on sites which show ship positions, we are pulling ahead to get to FLL a day early, due to two medical emergencies.  Once those passengers are taken off we will head back to sea on a short “cruise to nowhere” and return to FLL for the scheduled disembarkation.

no other passengers will be allowed off, there will be no C&I to take care of them, no porters or security or ground transportation.  We don’t even know which pier we will be using.

Unlikely we will use any pier....expect evacuation to a coast guard ship or perhaps to a helicopter when we get in range....if it is a real emergency.  Sounds like a situation that’s medically under control but should be treated in a hospital.

doesnt really impact our cruise....we’ve had this same situation before....get to port early, then go back out to sea.

We we have increased speed from 20 knots to 22 knots

Just now, cruisestitch said:

Looks like we will be docking, according to Port Everglades site.

If you believe that site, the allure will be leaving empty....and the reflection docks on Sunday and doesn’t leave until Monday.

my bet is still that we won’t actually dock....
