jnwrn11 Posted November 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) Husband and I will be in Roatan in December.... looking for a great place to have a reasonably priced meal. We love great food and trying new things... Would like to try some conch, wahoo, or lionfish. We're not locked into any specific location on the island. Any suggestions?? Rare crewsweeper Posted November 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2018 If heading to West Bay, there's Celeste's for baleadas, Honduran empandas. Up toward West End but still in West Bay, I hear Bite on the Beach has reopened. And in West End itself, try either Creole Rotisserie Chicken or Calelus.

c-leg5 Posted November 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Is Temporary Cals just a restaurant or is there a bar to hang out at and enjoy the view? is there a nearby beach other than Parrot Tree?

We will be on the Carnival Vista, how do we go about getting to Temporary Cals from the port and is there anything else to do close by? Thanks. lifes-a-beach Posted December 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted December 8, 2018 If you look at google maps you can see that Cal’s is pretty far to the east of everything. We had hired a driver for the day and had him drive us there. I’m not a cab fan in Roatan. There’s nothing around at all. It’s just a local place that’s got really good food and a great view.
