debeni Posted November 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2018 Should we take a private or the NCL ship tour to Rotorua from Tauranga? Are there any recommendations or reviews of the following private tour companies? Am I missing any? Do we have to be concerned about getting back to the ship on time? Rare mr walker Posted November 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2018 We went to Hobbiton, not Rotorua, on our last visit Tauranga visit. We used and thoroughly recommend Zealandier Tours - they do both Hobbiton & Rotorua, or can do each one separately if you prefer. Picked up right at wharf gate, and dropped back in plenty of time - all good.

qlderic Posted November 13, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Used CruiseTautranga.com last year for their Te Puia and Rotorua Geysers tour. Our guide was great and really knew the area with lots of interesting facts. Communication with them was excellent. They picked up from directly outside the port gates and dropped us back with lots of time to spare.
