Oversize Cape Liberty Parking

Quick question for any experts

 

Sailing out of Cape Liberty in January, plan on having a roof rack+container on the SUV and parking at the port

 

Reading seems to indicate an oversized lot is available across from the parking garage?

 

Anyone used this lot? Where is it in relation to garage? Is it all secure and has anyone used it and felt car is just as safe?

 

Any need to try and avoid the roof carrier? ...other then possibly having to shovel the car out when we get back? 🙂

There is a lot right in front of the terminal. Shouldn't be a problem.

The car is safe. It’s part of the “official” port parking. Same security as the garage.
