I had hoped as well, until I realized that it was the last day of the cruise and that it was an all day and most of the night stop.  If they followed the usual all shops, casino, etc closed while in port, that stop would be a big negative for me. That quickly caused me to mark it off my list.

I agree. It’s is owned by MSC. Not the Bahamas.  The shops and casino will most likely be open. Passengers will be able to eat onthe island or the ship too. 

Its possible, but I wonder if it will follow other cruise lines that have their own islands and have most ship shops and casinos closed during port?  To the best of my memory Princess, NCL, Carnival and I think RCL (not sure on this one as its been a while since we sailed RCL) all close their shops and casino while they are ported.
