teedee Posted June 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2004 This is a good one! Let's see - first of all Brad Pitt and he wouldn't even have to talk, I could just sit and look at him ! You didn't say if it had to be someone still alive, so I'm going to also pick Harry Truman. I've always been an admirer of his and think it would be fascinating to have been able to sit down for dinner and talk to him! buffett010 Posted June 13, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Aggie - You beat me! I was going to say Jimmy Buffett and Robin Williams, too! Then I'd have to add Otto Frank (Anne Frank's father). What courage he had to have had to lose his whole family and then pick up afterwards to continue his life and leave a legacy of his daughter. LovetheSea Posted June 13, 2004 #21 Share Posted June 13, 2004 This is an easy one. I would love to be able to take my whole extended family on a cruise. My hubby, our two sons and my son's girlfriend, My Mom, Dad & wife, my sister her two daughters, my brother and his fiance and two kids, and my husband's sister and her husband. It would have to be a BIG table!
MISSYLOU Posted June 13, 2004 #22 Share Posted June 13, 2004 My hubby, some very special cruise friends we have met through the years and "the Divine Miss M" Bette Midler, my all time favorite. She could be very funny during dinner and then sing to us at the end of each meal. Then if Randy Quaid would join us, it would be unforgettable. Imagine the two of them together. Catnip Posted June 13, 2004 #25 Share Posted June 13, 2004 If I could pick deceased people, I would pick: 1) Queen Elizabeth I 2) Marie Antoinette 3) My best friend, Janine, who died from colon cancer 2 years ago. (26 prior cruises & 2 flights on Concorde) It has been said that angels, while on Earth, aren't allowed to show their wings, but nothing was ever said about not showing their whiskers. <^..^>
