Norwegian Sky 12/14 Iteneray Mistake?

Hi,

 

I just booked this sailing yesterday, finished booking my flights etc. I noticed this morning that it shows the return on 12/17 saying we don't get into Miami until 4 pm. This makes no sense to me.

 

They have another 4 day sailing that leaves on the 17th at 5 pm. They can't possibly turn the ship around that quickly!

 

I booked my return flight home at noon on 12/17. I have some time to change it still if necessary, but I'd prefer to not have to spend the night in Miami. 

 

Does anyone else think this is strange?

Update: I just canceled my flights until I can get clarification from NCL since it is within 24 hours. 

 

This is frustrating because tomorrow flights are going to cost more. But better to not risk it I guess.

itinerary errors are common.  Our Breakaway cruise itinerary was incorrect at 2 different times before sailing and then incorrect about port time in Cozumel right until we saw the all aboard time in the Daily the night before.

I looked online and your surmise is correct, a glitch in the system!!  4pm must be incorrect.

Well Cruise Timetables show arrival in Miami on the 17th at 7:00 AM

I booked this cruise very early in the year.  A few months ago, I received a notification that we would not arrive to the port until Monday at 4 PM.

I just finished calling Norwegian and they did confirm that this ship is returning at 4 pm Monday, and the next sailing is leaving at 11 pm. 

 

Does this not seem strange to anyone else? I seriously can't imagine the frist day of a cruise leaving the port at 11 pm.

I've seen other cruises leaving at 11 p.m.  It isn't the majority ... but there are some that do.  And a quick turn around and leaving same day as docked is standard.

No. It looks like the port overbooked and there is not enough berth space for all of the ships. Unfortunately, your ship drew the unlucky straw and will have to wait for another ship to leave first so it frees up the berth for your ship.
