Transfer Booking

Can I transfer a booking made directly through Celebrity UK to a US Travel Agent. We booked in October for a sailing in January 2019.

If the travel agent is willing to take the booking and you are within the time limit, which I believe is 60 days, then you should be able to make the transfer.

I believe you must also be before final payment.

Thankyou for such a speedy responses.  We are before final payment. 

If I were able to transfer the booking, would I be able to take advantage of price guarantee offered by US Celebrity which UK Celebrity doesn't offer. Our cruise cabin category has dropped by over $300 since we booked. Would it be a straight transfer as we have drinks package included.

I can’t tell you about taking advantage of the price guarantee.  But in the US final payment date is 90 days before sailing, so any cruise in Jan 2019 is already past final payment.  Iould doubt that Celebrity would approve the transfer.  Of corse it never hurts to ask.

Our final payment is due in a couple of weeks (think 60 days out). I'm not hopeful either but as you say it never hurts to ask, they can only say no!!

I think cruisestitch missed the date of the cruise.  I’m pretty sure that the OP is after Final Payment, which will be 90days (it used to be a shorter time frame, but no more). I think it’s too late to make any changes now
