Punta Cana - tender or no

I don't know why I can't find this information anywhere, but do you have to tender in to port at Punta Cana?    It's not on Celebrity's website as a tender port but I've seen several mentions of tendering there.   This would be on the Equinox.  Thank you.

We tendered when we went last year in November. 

It took a long time because of the rough conditions. Once we we were on the tender, it was very rocky and a bit challenging to get into tge tender. My MIL waswith us and I was concerned about her getting out of tge tender on the way back.

If I ever go there again, I will stay on the ship.

They cancelled ours last month for the same reason.  We ended up going to Samana instead which worked out well because we hit a great beach there.
