cruisemein Posted December 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2018 My wife and I are on a Premier Plus cruise out of Galveston here in about 2 weeks and our boarding passes do not say anything about Priority boarding. I called the 800 number and was assured that there would be a separate premier line. I was told the same thing last Oct. on our Premier Plus cruise out of Miami on the Horizon and there was no separate line so we just rolled with the flow. I have emailed the Player's Club and awaiting a response. Has anyone recently been on a premier cruise out of Galveston and did your boarding pass reflect your priority status or was there a separate line for you? The last premier cruise we took out of Galveston, back in April, our boarding pass had Priority written on it. Not a terrible deal but sure did like it when we were able to use it. We did a Premier on the Breeze in Sept before she left Galveston and we did have Priority on our boarding passes and luggage tags. I think I remember seeing a sign for Premier guests but it was basically just the same line for FTTF if I remember correctly. Have fun!
coevan Posted December 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2018 I have been sailing with Carnival for over 20 years. What is a Premier Cruise?
Lottacruises Posted December 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 12, 2018 You will use the same line as fttf and priority. Upstairs at gusset services sometimes you will have a dedicated line beside of the priority line. I'm only curious how the people outside will know you are with the premier group and get you in the priority line without any notation on your boarding pass. What time do you plan to arrive for check in? I ask these because I can share some information based on this.

Freedom, 11:30-12:00 Yes, 3 times Since supposedly I have priority, I was planning on arriving around 10:30-11:00, staying at the Harbor House the night before the cruise. Lottacruises Posted December 12, 2018 #11 Share Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) Coming that early there is no need to worry about being priority. There is an influx of people right when the terminal opens, around 10, of wedding and priority, then the early or lates, then there is a lull until around 1130. Vista is different because there is so many more people. If you're not concerned with priority debark I wouldn't worry. The line upstairs, if you're an incomplete or a cash account will be non-existent also at that time. I'm not sure if the casino groups get priority debark anyway, so it just may not matter. Hopefully this information helps you. Edited December 12, 2018 by Lottacruises
