Walking back to the ship

We got back on the ship and I was in the mood for some shrimp tacos.  These were delicious

Guess I forgot to take pics of what everyone else ate but here was a little bit of dessert left.

Nice review. We have sailed on the Fantasy several times and look forward to our next trip.

Still loving the review!  How long was the bus tour?  We're thinking about taking it.

Thanks...yes it is amazing how fast they grow up and they are still young but seems like yesterday they were babies

If you have never been to Progreso or even if you have I would recommend it.  It helps with getting a feel for where everything is.  Not 100% sure how long it was but based on some of the timestamps on my photos I would guess it was between 30-45 minutes including the stop to take pictures by the sign.

The moment the girls had been waiting for....it was time to go check out the waterworks area

The girls first time down the racing water slides

DW and I found some chairs where we could watch the girls and relaxed.  Grandma found a chair with us and enjoyed watching the kids as well.

June 18 we sailed on the Dream- our largest ship. It was great. We have been on fantasy class ships many times.

The girls wanted me to go down the slides with them so I headed up for some fun as well and got some pictures from the top

This was racing the oldest down the water slide

 

After we did the small one a few times they wanted to go to the big one so of course I took them up there.  Let's just say it is very high and also it seems like the slide is put together weird cuz you can feel every section that connects on your back when you lay down.  Hope you enjoy the ride

After that I decided it was time to relax again.  Shortly we would be pulling out of Progreso so went to check the lines.  It was kinda disappointing we did not see any pier runners the entire trip.

So our thoughts on the Waterworks was it was nice however we liked the Freedom where it had the one waterslide and pool and hot tub right by it.  DW and I both thought it was nice to be able to cool off in the pool or relax in hot tub while the kids did the waterslide.  While on this ship the only option was to relax in the lounge chairs which was still nice.  We went back to the room and decided to order some room service while the girls rested and then began to shower.

While waiting DW had me run to try and scope out the backdrops for pictures so she could decide which color scheme we should do tonight.  Here is some of them

I also came across this sign if you are a martini fan seemed like a good deal

They were having the diamond and platinum mixer as I made my way down the hall

Alright back to the room and just in time as room service arrived.  Now there is a lot of discussion right now about room service and we are hoping they stay with the free stuff for at least part of the day.  Anyways there is a few things that we feel are amazing at room service starting with the BLT

Next up my favorite is the tuna sandwich

We started with some marinated chicken tenders which are very good

Of course the escargot which I think is delicious

The girls had the soup

I had the chicken milanese which I thought was dry and not much sauce

 

DW tried the chille rellenos

The girls got some lasagna which was pretty good

We also got some mac n cheese

We also had tried the short rib which was pretty good

We just got to look at it and it was showtime.  The dancing began

I got the buttered popcorn which is very good

I also got some cheesecake

The little one had of course melting cake with double ice cream

After dinner we headed towards the lounge. They were doing some music trivia in the atrium
