They opened the glass bottom windows so we could see under the water.

We got off the boat, I put on the snorkel gear and went to see what I could see.

Everyone got loaded back on the boat and we started heading back to the dock.

 

 

 

 

A few minutes later, the music got turned up and the dancing started.

Then the Conga line started.

It was an American Airlines Plane.

We left our stateroom and headed to deck 8 because we were meeting Trace and Maria at Sugarcane before heading to Dinner. 

 

 

We stopped at a photo station and got some photos taken.

So month's before our sailing, I was watching prices for my stateroom and Trace's stateroom. I logged onto NCL one morning and found Trace's stateroom had gone down over 500.00. I alerted him, he was able to get the better price, and he said 'Dude, I owe you." So, as we got closer to the cruise he had said, "Dude, Maria and I are going to take you and Susan to the Haven Restaurant." He said he had to clear it with the Concierge, but he got approval and We all got to go to the Haven restaurant for Dinner. He of course had to pay for ours, Thank you Trace!

Not expecting to eat up here ever again, I had to try several things.

 

 

Maria got the Butternut Squash Soup.

 

 

Susan got Shrimp Porcini Risotto

 

 

I got the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail

 

 

Susan got the Bouillabaisse

 

 

Trace and I got the Slow-Roasted Pork Belly.

 

 

Trace got a Caesar Salad.

 

 

Susan and Maria got the Beet and Arugula Salad

 

 

I got the Butter Lettuce Salad

Maria got the Grilled Sea Bass

 

 

Susan got the Seared Sonoma Duck Breast

 

 

Trace and I I got the Prime Rib

 

 

I also had to try the Mustard-Crusted Rack of Lamb

We had to finish Dessert quickly and head up to Laser Tag.

Laser Tag and Go Carts require close toe shoes. Unfortunately, Susan was not wearing close toed shoes, so she had to run back to the room to change. She got back and we started our Laser Tag adventure.

We headed back to the room, and found Mr. Dinosaur. I made sure to say good morning and good evening to Mr. Dinosaur each day. (If you watch Parodeejay on YouTube, you know Jay said good morning and good evening to the Dinosaur towel animal each day on their Carnival Breeze vlogs.)

 

We also found an envelope on the bed. 

 

I open it and start laughing. Susan is looking at me like I done lost my mind. Then I share with her what it says...

 

It says:

 

 

We are going to surprise Trace and Maria in the morning and let them know we get to go back to the Haven Restaurant. This was an unexpected surprise. Thank you Jovo and Pamela.

 

We turn in early. This is needed because we are meeting Trace and Maria in their room the next morning and having breakfast in their room, that they are ordering through the butler. This way we can head up to the Haven and get priority disembarkation for Tortola tomorrow.

 

End of Day 4.

I would like to add my kudos to Susan for her efforts at her significant weight loss. 

Not only is her trim  appearance a benefit, but her health and wellness benefits also.

For almost 50 years, I have had to be conscious of keeping my weight at a healthy level due to a disease that was diagnosed when I was 15.

This life-long effort has been a challenging one for me, so I applaud Susan in making her good choices.

Please pass along my compliments to her.

i wish you both continued good days of cruising and adventure.

Does your Gold Latitudes status give you a discount at Starbucks ?

 

We will be on the Escape for 2 weeks in January and will use Starbucks. We was on the Escape for 6 days in April but never had coffee there.

yes, you can use a Starbucks GC on board. I don’t know about the Escape. No, latitudes status does not give you a discount. You also cannot redeem Starbucks rewards onboard, but you do earn stars if you have a registered card.

How were you able to piggyback with Trace and Maria and utilize their priority disembarkation through the Haven in Tortola since you were not staying in the Haven?  It was very nice of Jovo to hook you up with a Haven dinner.  I met him previously on the Escape back in 2016.
