Blind Squirrel Posted December 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2018 So I want to mail post cards from different ports of call on my Panama Canal cruise. How is that best done? Can I take US postage stamps? Has anybody done this? I don’t want to just wait to get back to the US to mail them. I don’t care how long it takes, but would like them postmarked in the country’s I mail them from.
casofilia Posted December 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2018 Ask at the Customer Services Desk as they will post mail for you. So a call to NCL in Miami might get you an answer.
OCruisers Posted December 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2018 To get the the post mark you want, you really need to buy stamps and mail them from the port of call.
suometar Posted December 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Trying to find a post office or a place that sells stamps and a mailbox can be a major hassle, not to mention that the cards may never be delivered. We bought and mailed postcards from Venice back in 2016, and so far our recipients have not received them.
Aprille Posted December 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) Guest services will have local postage stamps for each port of call (until they run out). There is mail box near guest services where you can deposit your postcards and they will be offloaded and mailed at the next port of call. Guest services can tell you the latest time you can put your postcards in the mail box. Edited December 20, 2018 by Aprille
