Distinctive Dining Package

Is it worth it? 

Being offered for $65/pp on our 28day S. Pacific cruise this March.

Thought I read some bad mojo about it a few months back.

 

btw...tried to do a search on the subject but kept pulling up dining posts on other cruise lines on my mobile. New search engine stinks, or my CC forum skills suck.

Well, I guess no one has used or has input on the dining package or my post.

Had several views but no replies after 2 days. No response is a first for me after several years on this board.

Guess I’ll just decide for my self. Thanx to all who at least viewed my post.

I looked at your post and was hoping someone would reply because I have never heard of the Distinctive Dining Package on HAL. Did the offer come from HAL or a TA?

I had to go look to be sure - yes the distinctive dining package is the 3 specialty dining at a slight discount.

 

OP - some of us don't know it by that name, so unless you describe what the package is, it makes it tough to respond.

 

There is a small savings with the package.  Downside to me is that you have to wait until you are on board to reserve your dining.

 

The night or times you want may not be available if others have pre-booked.

JMO -- but I would book the specialty restaurants you want now -- at the times and date you want.  Waiting until you get on the ship -- you might be disappointed in the times and dates that are left.
