Does RC Do Partial Panama Canal Cruise?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean does a partial transit of the Panama Canal?  I know they have a port of call at Colon, Panama, but I want to go into the Canal on my ship, not stop outside or only take a ferry.  I've called RC folks 3 times but can't get a definite answer.  I prefer going with Royal Caribbean, but might choose another line if I can't find out for sure.

They used to. But RCI has not sailed partial canal transits for at least 14 years. (last time that we sailed a partial with RCI) Perhaps there were more recent sailings (partial) that we were not aware of.

All you really need is a Caribbean sailing that has Colon, Panama as a stop for the whole day. Great excursions to be done with a long trip on an air conditioned ferry(with food and drinks) through the canal and eastern locks.
