casino British Isles cruise

Looking at doing a British Isle cruise ,wonder  if casino operates  and what currency is used?.Search  feature was no help at all.

Actually, there is very little casino time on that cruise. It is so port intensive. They will deduct US $ from your cruise board account.

Also depending on the itinerary, the casino may be closed on a sea day as the ship sails close to land and isn’t in International waters, cannot be certain but think it was after we left Queensferry although it was about 6 years ago so not sure if things have changed since.

In may we were on a British Isles cruise with an overnight in Dublin.  The casino was open every evening at sea and all day on the two sea days.  I had read in a past post that the casino was not open most days but, this was not the case on our cruise.

I forgot to add that the currency is US dollars.

Last summer on the Royal in the British Isles, the casino was open all times we were at sea. The casino uses USD.

On a related note, is Bingo played on the Princess British Isles cruises?

I looked at the post just below this one about the Princess Patters on the British Isles cruise and it looks like there is bingo.  I don't play so I didn't know for sure until I read that post ( I don't like giving info that I am not 100% sure about.)

Yes I looked through those Patters too and didn't see bingo.  I guess I could have missed it.  Hoping there will be!

Rocklinmon-  I took a closer look at the Patters and I seen Snowball Jackpot Bingo on both sea days at 4:15pm.

I was on the Ocean Princess in 2013 (I think) for an 8 day British Isles cruise and the casino was closed while we were in UK waters. In fact, one day they had a casino fun day we're we played roulette etc. with play money for prizes (Princess t-shirt etc.).
