js Posted January 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2019 Hi. We will be two women in Cozumel next month and trying to get my cash together for our day at Nachi. Approximately, how much will a cab cost for two people to get from the MSC port to Nachi. Thank you very much.
JohninDC Posted January 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2019 Current fares will be posted near the taxi line, but should be about $17+tip each way. Fare covers up to 4 passengers, so pair up with others from your roll call and save $ at least on the ride there. Enjoy! 😎

Thank you very much.

WarumistdieBananekrumm Posted January 19, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 19, 2019 (edited) We ( 2) are going to be on RCCL ALLURE sailing out of Miami on February 17. On Febr. 20., we dock at COZUMEL with potentially approximately 9 hours net on shore. On that day, we look forward to our 3rd visit (day pass $55, p.p.) at NACHI COCOM, an exclusive , quiet, private resort for a relaxing, all inclusive beach day. We plan to leave the ship fairly early, (we are supposedly the first ship in port, ) to get a prime spot at the resort before passengers from the 3 other ships arrive in port. The taxi ride to the 9 km distant resort is $17 for up to 4 people or $19 for 6 people. That amount is not per person, but per taxi. We are interested to hear from fellow passengers or crew/officers interested in sharing the taxi ride going to the same resort or to near by ones, as the taxi fares are identical. I would recommend posting this on your sailings specific roll call linked below. You’re likely to get more specific responses.
JohninDC Posted January 19, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2019 We have had some luck announcing our destination at the back of the cab line and pairing up with others heading to the same resort. The guy managing the cab line may not like this.
Yanicka24 Posted January 19, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2019 Do they accept American dollars for the cabs?
iahawkfan21 Posted January 19, 2019 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2019 Yes they do. Prices on the signs at the port will list USD as well.

I always bring lots of smaller bills because cab drivers all over the world never seen to have change when you pull out a $20 bill. I've been to Nacho Cocom several times in the past, and went to their site to check prices for my daughter and her significant other for March. The only thing that came up for nachicocom.com was their 'for sale' listing, nothing for reservations for the day. Is there a new web page? Thanks.
