palakika Posted January 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2019 I have a question about adjoining staterooms. Can you hear noises from the next door neighbors? Thanks for any info!
Andee Posted January 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2019 On our recent Marina cruise, we could hear the TV from the next door (but not adjoining) cabin.
orchestrapal Posted January 20, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2019 On the R ships you can hear every word from an adjoining small cabin to the Vista Suites.
Perash Posted January 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2019 On recent Regatta cruise, could not hear much at all from cabins next door (but not adjoining - ie no connecting door in middle).
Rare LHT28 Posted January 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2019 I think a lot has to do with your neighbours some cabins (not connecting ) you can hear people talking or the TV & then there is the search each morning where they open every drawer in the cabin & bang them shut before they slam the door on their way out Then there are the other type people you rarely know they are in the cabin we have encountered both types 🙂
BenMurphy Posted January 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 21, 2019 We have stayed in rooms adjoining doors never heard a thing. In fact we have the same room on board Sirina for our Christmas cruise. Main thing is some people not closing the stateroom door ............just allowing it slam to, most annoying.
