Thinking of visiting Pigeon Island on our next cruise.  Is it easy to get to?

Straight shot by cab. $35USD one way. $8USD entrance fee. 30 or so minutes ride..

There's also lovely beach outside the park, with a couple local eateries, bathroom, some shops, masseuses, etc.

Cab direct to pigeon island. TripAdvisor for information on area.

I liked it and have returned a few times. Snorkeling from shore as you face water walking to the right enter water and hug shore line for decent snorkeling. The excursion brought cruise passengers here. Check out hiking to top of mountain. Also old pirate stone wall bar in basement of the yellow building. Pounding Atlantic Ocean on other side.

The beach is not huge but chairs are available for rental. Sandals resort is nearby but fenced off.

Going with a group would be a good thing.
