Nicest beach in Roatan?

We are using ronys on the recommendation of a lot people On our roll call.  Good trip advisor reviews too.

West bay beach is supposed to be the nicest.  We went there last cruise.  It has the pretty blue water.  But it can very crowded and full of vendors.  The beach itself is not very big.

We are looking into seeing the sloths and then beach time.  We have looking at other beaches and they don’t seem as nice at west bay.  I haven’t gotten many replies on this board.

West Bay Beach is the nicest beach.  Carnival would love people to just stay at Mahogany Bay but I'd encourage you to book with Rony or our favorite is Victor Bodden Tours.  You can have a private driver  all day that will take you to the monkeys, take you to the beach and to small market, or anywhere sightseeing you want to go!  We stay at Roatan a week once a year and West Bay Beach is beautiful.  It is some of the best snorkeling in the world!  You will see many fish within 20 yards of the beach!

West Bay Beach is the premier beach on the island, think postcard perfect. Sadly, due to the beauty, the crystal clear water, the reef snorkeling steps from the sand everyone and their mother's uncle wants to experience it.  THIS thread has a heap of info about West Bay.

Half Moon Bay Beach is in the village of West End, think town instead of resort. The beach itself is delightful, the snorkeling is pretty good within the buoys, be careful outside of them with the boat traffic.

Best is subjective to everyone.. If you seek only sea and sand.. about any beach would do,  including Mahogany Bay
