Pre booking restaurants

We have a voucher for a specialty restaurant as part of our package from our TA. Is there any way we can pre-book a restaurant using this as I see you have to pay upfront? TIA

We have only had dinner in a speciality restaurant gifted by a TA twice.  In both cases what we got was On Board Credit that was designated so it could only be used for a fixed amount for a speciality restaurant.  Since OBC from a TA isn’t available until your board the ship you wouldn’t be able to use it to make reservations ahead of time.

I would suggest you ask your TA:

Will the voucher be OBC on your shipboard account?

if so can you only use it for a speciality restaurant?

what is the amount or limit of the voucher since the restaurant prices vary you will want to know which restaurants are covered by the voucher.

The voucher is for onboard booking of a specialty restaurant only.  You cannot reserve the restaurant in advance.   

 

If the TA is doing it correctly it will cover any specialty restaurant (the value is variable and is handled onboard).  You will see it posted on your daily invoice as if it were an OBC, but the amount should be for the actual restaurant you are going to.
