I have a week long on the miracle booked in an obstructed view balcony...saw online while checking current price of my room, that room 6232 was available for only $168 more for 4 people... pretty tempted to book because of the huge balcony size upgrade even though my wife isn't in 100% agreement...but she might not argue once we get on that large balcony... it's worth it right?!?

I like the extra room of an extended Balcony. So, I say sure UPGRADE AWAY!!  😊We  have cruised together (3) and it really is more comfortable to have that extra space outside.

First, sailed Miracle to Hawaii 2 years ago + loved the ship. I don't like the way some of the Spirit class balconies are set back into the ship and the cabin you're considering is one of those. Yeah, you have a larger balcony, but you're view is somewhat obstructed fore, aft, and down (lifeboat). Personally, I avoid these when booking, in fact, I'm booked into 6283 on Legend to Alaska in July. If you look at it, it is a corner + provides much better view in all directions. Now, I've never had one of these cabins, just making you aware of my observations.

yes   it is very well worth it.      I didnt spend a lot of time looking forward--  (direct forward or direct aft  as you can see from the picture you can see forward  just not direct down the line of the ship
