Questions on formal night.

My wife and I are regular NCL cruisers and are going on our first RCCL cruise on Independence of the Seas at the end of the month.  I have two questions:

 

1. On a 4 night sailing what night is the formal night?

2. Does the majority of the ship dress up or is it more like the "Dress up or not" night on NCL?

Most likely night 2 will be formal.

 

Royal does not enforce dress suggestions, so you can wear whatever you like.  You will see the full range of attire.

On some ships, RCI calls it "Dress to impress".
