Catherine721 Posted February 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2019 I am considering purchasing NCL Stock. For 100 Shares the shareholder is entitled to an onboard benefit, the amount depending on the length of the cruise. There is a line that says the onboard credit benefit is not combinable with any other offer. Would the Oceania Loyalty credit be considered an offer? Or the O Choice benefits? Has anyone had experience with this? Thank you Linda
Classiccruiser777 Posted February 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2019 We’re presently bronze and I own over 100 shares. We’ve always received the loyalty benefits, the shareholder benefit, OBC from our TA and other perks such as a refund from our TA and pre-paid gratuities, all for the same booking. It has never been an issue.
Catherine721 Posted February 9, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Thank you so much for answering my question regarding the shareholder benefit. We are silver -one more and we will be gold level. We should have bought shares a long time ago.

ICT lineman Posted February 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2019 (edited) Agree with above. Non-refundable OBC will be applied to that voyage. Here is the info : http://www.nclhltdinvestor.com/static-files/91699aad-cb30-4ff6-8e40-4dc290cb03b5 .... and the request form http://www.nclhltdinvestor.com/static-files/43324b8a-1e18-43ab-9664-b05fe3b6d9e5 Because NCLH does not pay a dividend, we use this benefit to get at least some return on the investment. Tranquility Base Posted February 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2019 After you apply for this shareholder OBC, how do you receive confirmation that it has been approved and applied ?
ICT lineman Posted February 14, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) On the form that you send to Oceania, you provide the email address of the person submitting the request. In our case, we receive an email from Oceania stating that the OBC credit had been approved. We always book directly with Oceania so we also receive an email from Oceania with a new invoice showing the OBC applied. I will assume that if you booked through a TA then Oceania may notify the TA and not you directly. Edited February 14, 2019 by ICT lineman

ano Posted February 15, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2019 Yeah have always get the credit, but if you want to benefit more, skip the NCL stock and buy Carnival Stock. We've made enough on a 100 shares to go on a free cruise.
