mbuckles071 Posted February 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Does Carnival allow you to reserve shows?
BoDidly Posted February 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Not at this present time, but with the new mega ships coming I would bet to see it on future cruises.
riffatsea Posted February 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2019 There is no real need to reserve a show. We will never cruise on those new mega ships so perhaps that will be different but for now you just go a bit ahead of time to get seats.

On Sunshine in December, there were indeed line-ups for the Playlist shows, but lots of reasonably good seats available even a few minutes before the start (maybe that was just a fluke). If you want to hit any of the later Comedy club shows, you definitely need to get there early. The first show of the night you could wander in 10 min before the show and still get a sight-line seat. (We did twice, again maybe just lucky.) I cannot speak for the Vista class ships.
TomCruise125 Posted February 13, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2019 I typically just put a beach towel on the seat in the theatre just after lunch and have never had a problem. 1

Domergirl Posted February 13, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 13, 2019 The most "competitive" shows I've ever seen...in terms of getting a seat, were the comedy shows on the Sunshine. The venue is quite small, and the comedy shows were really popular.

A few have even saved twelve or more seats with coats and the cloth hamburger napkins from Guys. One fellow just sat down anyway and this lady shouted " Hay my husbands sitting there ". He jumped up and said " Oh my god I didn't see him , he must be an awful small ".
