I'm guessing your Ijmuiden port was a couple of years ago?

Sorry Jacqui - we didn't return to Ijmuiden, we returned to the Waterland Terminal on our 24 JUN 2018 Viking Saga cruise. Waterland is some 6 miles (as the crow flies) from the PTA terminal.

I recall reading that guests staying at the Movenpick could drop their bags at the hotel and they would be taken to the ship. Can anyone comment if this service is still available?

On our sailing in the Konningsdam in July, this was only true for guests who had booked the hotel through HAL. However, it was an easy, short walk to the baggage drop area.

Seldom HAL ships dock at another place. But to be sure where your ship dock and return check the website of the terminal Amsterdam. https://www.ptamsterdam.nl/en/cruises-portal

Hi Ine!   Thanks for the information about the cruise schedule!   Very helpful!   I will email you why it was so helpful.  Regards,  Bill
