booking through Casino at seas

we are booked on the Joy for  June to Alaska we were first booked on the Jewel and they we got switched to the Joy which we were very excited about.

 

they gave us an inside cabin and most of the time we upgrade to a balcony but this time I thought I would save the money and just do the inside and bid on a balcony when I can.

 

my question is we have not received an offer to bid and I am getting worried that my plan my not work😉 has any one never received an upgrade offer before?

 

every time I have booked with NCL I have gotten the offer but not this time.

Yes. Your reservation is eligible for Upgrade Advantage. Upgrade Advatage are offered 80 days prior to cruise, so you’re still a bit early.

My cruise on the Getaway in April was booked through Casinos at Sea, and I received the upgrade bidding email exactly 80 days out. You should as well, if you don't I would call Casinos at Sea at the 80 day mark and they should be able to get you squared away. Good luck!

A lot of people have the same plan as you; there is no guarantee you will win your bid. If you won’t be happy in an inside room, you should call and upgrade through CAS and not hope on winning a bid.

And keep in mind that not everyone receives an invitation bid.

I'm on the Joy May 4 sailing (also courtesy of CAS).  No one in my roll call or FB group had received an email to bid.  There is no option either on NCL website.  Heck, the restaurant reservations aren't even working yet and we're 74 days out!

For our Jan cruise people on our roll call and FB page didn't receive offer until about 72 days out.
