Recommendations for travel from Miami Airport to South Beach and Cruise Port

We have booked a 2 night pre-cruise stay in a hotel in the South Beach Area.    Looking for best and cheapest way to get from Miami Airport to Hotel and then from Hotel to Cruise Port.   First time visiting this area and have read reports of people being seriously ripped off by some taxi drivers.

Yep. Uber/Lyft is the way to go. By far the most efficient for the cost.

The absolutely cheapest method from MIA to South Beach is the Airport Flyer bus (route 150).  It is a cheap ($2.65) trip to South Beach, convenient and comes highly recommended by a number of guests at our son's wedding at a South Beach hotel.

As others have said, Uber or Lyft would be cheapest method to the port.

Best would be a stretch limo with a stocked bar.

 

Cheapest, as suggested above, is the bus and Uber or Lyft, also suggested above, is what I would choose.

You can check Larry's Limos and SuperShuttle.  I suspect splitting up into two cabs or two Ubers, maybe one of them an UberXL, will be your best and cheapest option.

Thx to everyone who took the time to reply.   We are thinking of using the Express Bus.  Quick question-do you use the airport monorail to get to the bus terminal?

Follow the pink signs to the MIA Mover and ride that to the Metro station. The flyer bus leaves from the ground level. Buy your tickets before you board.
