Any one know if booked economy on TAP Portugal if more than one bag is allowed and if so what the charge would be? I've looked on their web site and I'm not seeing any prices or options for extra baggage. Also called currently on hold, about 15 minutes now.

So let's see....rather than wait on hold and get the definitive answer, we'll rely on the anecdotal input from folks on a forum.

By now, you should have gotten through.  What did they say?

As the old commercials went "Enquiring minds want to know".

Astonishingly, it's on the website page for "Hold baggage", below the grey box headed "Important information", where it says "Extra baggage".

Sometimes the information here is quite accurate. I gave up after 25 minutes

I wonder what the difference is between "checked" and "hold"

Checked baggage is that which is handed over to the airline rather than being carried onboard by the passenger.

The hold is where the checked baggage is stowed on the aircraft.

Thus, the two terms are pretty much synonymous.
