Keep in mind, if you use the cruise insurance, they're going to do whatever they can to make sure any potential settlement helps the cruise line, not you. Sure, that can be said for all insurance (they're all in the business to make money), but the conflict of interest is a lot larger when you buy insurance through a cruise line, airline, car insurance company, etc. etc.
